Our Philosopy
Jigsaw Child Care Centres are a place where children, families and carers are treated as equal and valued individuals, regardless of race, gender, additional needs or cultural background. Children will be encouraged to grow and develop to their full potential at their own pace. The Centre will provide a relaxed, safe and loving environment that reflects family values and will help to guide children to respect and care for others. We will endeavor to help a child to use their initiative, to become self reliant and independent and to enhance their strengths and self esteem. Carers at the centre will communicate with parents/guardians in a positive and supportive manner that encourages parent participation and discussion regarding all issues relevant to the children and the running of the centre at all times. To utilize and encourage the individual attributes of the carers and have continuity for the greater benefit for the children and their families and to promote a happy, supportive and respectful workplace.
We have Chilcare Centres in Palmyra (Carrington Childcare) and Munster (Lollipops Childcare).
Our Goals To provide an environment which is safe, happy, stimulating and loving. To provide children’s behaviour in a positive way. To communicate and be informative to all family members. To encourage family members to contribute to the programs and activities in the centre. All staff to be supportive and respectful of each other and to work as a team. Management of the centre to be accessible to families and staff. To provide a program which provides for the needs of all children in their differing abilities and developmental stages. To ensure the health and safety of all children is paramount and that all policies and procedures are followed. To provide healthy and nutritious menus. To regularly review policies and procedures.
National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC)
